We believe that growth as a writer is a life-long process, and all writers can benefit from focused feedback in a collaborative and compassionate environment. With that in mind, the Wayne State Writing Center is committed to building writers’ confidence through peer-to-peer coaching sessions focused on various parts of the writing process. The Wayne State Writing Center is your academic partner. We're here to serve students, faculty and staff alike. Undergraduate and Graduate students currently enrolled in classes from ay discipline can work with both Undergraduate and Graduate tutors in one-on-one tutoring either in-person or online. Make an appointment soon after assignments are given so that we may help you navigate the multiple levels of the writing process. Sessions last up to 50 minutes. Tutors will work with students from initial idea development for an assignment all the way to reviewing the final draft of an assignment.
